Senior Product Manager, Agentic AI

About The Position

This role will lead the evolution of Jerry.ai's AI-powered customer experience and internal AI platform. The challenge is to own a strategic area of the company by leveraging large language models, agents, and internal APIs to deliver automated customer support and operations. The position sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and applied AI, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on exploration with modern LLM systems. The role involves building and scaling a sophisticated AI system that includes a production-grade conversational AI experience automating over 70% of inbound sales and service, human-in-the-loop systems for chat evaluation and improvement, internal process automation flows, and AI-powered insurance and repair quotes available in the ChatGPT App. The Product Manager will also be responsible for evaluating new models and AI capabilities, including emerging technologies like voice models and computer use agents for a regulated production environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical product management, management consulting, data analytics, or operations at a fast-paced startup.
  • Passionate about AI and intrinsically motivated to get hands-on with the latest technology.
  • Comfortable in technical conversations about system architecture, API design, and prompt engineering.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into simple terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data-driven, familiar with SQL, and comfortable diving into data to answer questions.
  • Experience owning metrics and seeking constant improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product development for Jerry's AI-powered customer experiences and internal AI platform, from roadmap to rollout.
  • Partner with engineers and prompt engineers to design and iterate on AI architectures, prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails, making tradeoffs between latency, cost, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Act as the bridge between engineering and the rest of the organization, leading by example for AI best practices and establishing platform standards.
  • Own key metrics such as answer quality, customer satisfaction, automation rate, and escalation quality, driving systematic improvement through data and experimentation.
  • Work directly with partners at OpenAI to evaluate new models and capabilities, identifying advancements in voice, computer use, and workflow automation.
