About The Position

The Agentic AI Senior Product Owner is a key member of the agile team, partnering with Product Managers and enablement teams to define and execute the tactical vision for product development. This role will support emerging Agentic Commerce initiatives, including proofs of concept, brand pilots, and long-term roadmap to help brands surface within Large Language Models (LLMs) and enable end-to-end digital commerce experiences from discovery through checkout. The Senior Product Owner will ensure clarity for the scrum team and drive the feature backlog across AI platforms, commerce services, and brand integrations. The role may also lead BAU support after enablement, including analyzing production issues, guiding fixes, and optimizing processes to meet evolving market needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Information Technology, or related field such as business analysis, with experience in Agile development techniques and managing third-party integrations, APIs, or digital platform products.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Business Analysis or Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Information Technology, financial services, payments, or digital commerce platforms, including experience supporting modern digital ecosystems such as AI-enabled platforms, conversational interfaces, digital marketplaces, or embedded commerce experiences.
  • Experience with Agentic Commerce frameworks and protocols (UPC, ACP, AP2, MCP) and operationalizing agent-based AI systems built on platforms such as Gemini or ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

  • Influence the digital capabilities roadmap by identifying new features that support AI-driven, agent-enabled commerce. Stay current on AI, LLMs, and digital commerce trends, analyze market data, and apply insights. Support discovery sessions and lead optimization efforts to improve throughput.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog for agentic commerce initiatives, including capabilities for AI-driven product discovery, financing and offer presentment, and headless checkout. Lead agile delivery with engineering teams, manage stakeholder relationships, present updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business & technology strategy.
  • Manage activities for requirements documentation, risk identification, and mitigation for new AI-enabled commerce capabilities. Drive process improvements to enhance product development, pilot enablement, and BAU support efficiency by streamlining workflows, adopting new tools, and supporting experimentation of emerging digital commerce capabilities.
  • Build strong partnerships within the Scrum team to ensure stable and operational capabilities while managing cross-functional dependencies across product, engineering, security, and platform teams. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to support agentic commerce pilots and integrations. Continually look to optimize processes and improve the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Train and mentor Product Owners, this includes offering advice, sharing best practices and helping them develop their skills and knowledge. May participate in recruitment and associate engagement efforts.
