About The Position

Mural Group is recruiting for a client, a late-stage, venture-backed enterprise AI company building a small, high-ownership team to ship new AI products from zero to one. The Senior Product Engineer role combines software engineering, applied machine learning, and customer work, with an expectation of sound product judgment. The position is remote within the United States. Bay Area and New York candidates are preferred; candidates elsewhere should expect occasional travel.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building user-facing software, with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or agents.
• Strong full-stack skills.
• Product sense and clear communication.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing evaluation frameworks.
• A startup or founding-engineer background.

Responsibilities

• Take new AI products from idea to production.
• Talk to users and turn vague needs into clear workflows and designs.
• Build tools used to test, evaluate, and monitor agents.
• Use data and evaluations to decide what to build next.
• Write demos and documentation that help get the product adopted.
