About The Position

Our client is building an AI-native platform that enables businesses to deploy intelligent agents and build applications on shared infrastructure. The Senior Product Engineer will own the development of AI-native products built on that platform, working autonomously across backend services, enterprise integrations, customer-facing applications, and AI agent workflows. The role spans the full product lifecycle, from identifying customer problems and shaping product direction to architecture, development, launch, and improvement in production.

The team has minimal product-planning overhead. Engineers are expected to understand customer needs, make product and UX decisions, and independently turn ambiguous opportunities into shipped products. The ideal candidate has built and launched products from zero to one that achieved meaningful adoption or commercial success, and is comfortable using AI models and AI-native engineering tools as part of development.

Success includes learning the platform and customer problems in the first 30 days; taking ownership of meaningful components and shipping customer-facing functionality within 60 days; and, within six months, owning products or major product surfaces, proposing product opportunities, and driving execution with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack software engineering experience with production systems.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Go, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience building and launching products from zero to one.
• Track record of products achieving meaningful customer adoption, revenue, or commercial success.
• Exceptional product sense and ability to make thoughtful UX and UI decisions.
• Ability to own backend architecture, frontend development, integrations, and deployment.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and familiarity with infrastructure as code.
• Understanding of agentic AI systems, frontier models, and modern AI development workflows.
• Experience using AI-native engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Cline.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems and independently turn them into shipped products.
• Strong first-principles problem-solving skills.
• High ownership, resourcefulness, and comfort working without extensive planning processes.

• Founder or former founder who has built and launched successful products.
• Experience building, scaling, or selling a software business.

Responsibilities

• Own AI-native products end to end, from concept and architecture through launch and production.
• Build backend services, enterprise integrations, and customer-facing applications.
• Develop intuitive product experiences using modern frontend technologies such as React.
• Identify customer problems and independently develop solutions.
• Design and improve AI agent workflows built on frontier models.
• Build evaluation frameworks and feedback loops to improve agent reliability.
• Instrument agent failures and turn real customer scenarios into reproducible tests.

• Own products or major product surfaces end to end and drive product direction and execution with minimal oversight.
