About The Position

Join Cosuno’s Engineering team to own features from the initial problem through production in a platform used by thousands of construction professionals. You will shape solutions and acceptance criteria, design data models and services, and ship across the backend, API, and front end. The role involves solving complex backend challenges involving tenders, bills of quantities, and large volumes of price data; making product and interface decisions using the company design system; and partnering with Product, Design, and Data on strategic initiatives. You will also architect and implement modular packages and services in the monorepo. Cosuno describes its engineering environment as calm, collaborative, and productive, with autonomy for engineers. The team practices trunk-based development and daily releases, uses Cypress end-to-end testing and strict typing, linting, and formatting, and deploys to AWS via Kubernetes using Terraform-managed infrastructure. The company values open discussion, constructive code reviews, and decisions based on the best idea. Cosuno is a fast-growing technology startup developing a digital platform for construction tenders and procurement. Its platform uses artificial intelligence to analyze price data and help construction companies create efficient bids. The company emphasizes diversity and an inclusive work environment.
