About The Position

Sequence is building an AI-powered revenue platform for modern finance teams, with software for the revenue cycle across quoting, billing, and revenue recognition. The Senior Product Designer will be one of the company's first designers, helping shape AI-powered finance automation and designing intuitive, AI-native workflows for billing, invoicing, and receivables. The role works closely with product, engineering, and founders in a small team, with design decisions having direct product and customer impact. It requires comfort with ambiguity, exploration of new interaction models, and making AI agents feel powerful and trustworthy.

Requirements

• Approximately five years of experience, as indicated by the role description.
• Experience shipping B2B products; experience in finance, B2B, or workflow-heavy domains is ideal.
• Comfort working in an early-stage environment and interest in shaping both product and process.
• Interest in AI tools and curiosity about designing with and for AI.
• Comfort with ambiguity and exploring new interaction patterns.
• Prioritize speed and impact over extended analysis and research.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing products in finance, B2B, or workflow-heavy domains.
• Familiarity or interest in AI tools such as Cursor, Midjourney, Figma Make, and Claude Artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-first product experiences across billing, invoicing, collections, and finance agent workflows.
• Partner with product managers and engineers from discovery through shipping to bring new concepts to life.
• Explore how agentic AI workflows should behave, including what they do automatically, when they request input, and how they explain their reasoning.
• Move between broad concepts and tactical deliverables, from sketching finance copilot experiences to refining invoice approval interactions.
• Rapidly prototype and test ideas with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Contribute to design reviews and help build a strong design culture at Sequence.
