About The Position

The Find My team builds seamless, private, and secure experiences that help users locate devices and personal items and share their location with friends and family. The team works across engineering, design, product management, hardware, software, and privacy to serve hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

As a Product Designer, you will work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with a cross-functional team to bring new experiences to life. You will design and iterate on features, with your design work impacting millions of users. The team values continuous iteration, improvement, innovation, and creative problem-solving.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership on shipped products.
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts and design decisions through sketches, high-fidelity comps, vibe-coding, prototypes, and presentations.
• Experience designing for iOS and/or macOS and a strong understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
• Ability to create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups across mobile and web platforms.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable, consistent experiences within an established design language.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product managers and engineers throughout the full product development lifecycle.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing location-based, mapping, or privacy-sensitive features.
• Experience designing hardware-software integration or companion app experiences, such as accessories or IoT devices.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, early-stage problem spaces with loosely defined requirements.
• Experience contributing to or extending a mature design system at scale.
• Background in motion design or micro-interaction design to enhance spatial and location-based UI.
• Prior experience at a consumer technology company shipping features to a large-scale user base of 100M+ users.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and designing inclusive experiences across diverse user needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on new Find My features and experiences.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including product managers and engineers, throughout product development.
• Communicate design concepts and decisions using sketches, high-fidelity comps, prototypes, presentations, and vibe-coding.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups across mobile and web platforms.
• Design scalable, consistent experiences within an established design language.
