About The Position

Join us at Diabetes Care (Client) in our mission to help people with diabetes lead active, fulfilling lives. We’re building products that empower individuals to manage their health with confidence through accurate, real-time data and intuitive digital experiences. As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape human-centered product experiences across Client’s connected ecosystem of devices, mobile applications, digital platforms, and service touchpoints. You will lead work from early opportunity discovery and concept development through detailed interaction design, launch, and iteration. This is a strategic, hands-on role for a designer who combines strong systems thinking, visual craft, and interaction design with a deep commitment to understanding users. You will work in ambiguous spaces, translate insights into clear product direction, and partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Data Science, Brand, and Marketing to deliver cohesive experiences at global scale.

Requirements

Degree in Design, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
6+ years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or a related field.
Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered product design work across mobile and/or desktop platforms.
Experience taking complex digital products from early concepts through delivery and iteration.
Advanced proficiency with product design and prototyping tools, including Figma.
Strong expertise in interaction design, information architecture, usability, accessibility, and visual design.
Experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Research partners to ship customer-facing product experiences.
Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience designing holistic consumer product experiences across physical devices and digital platforms.
Experience bringing products from 0 to 1, including early-stage concept exploration, prototyping, validation, and launch.
Experience creating prototypes that communicate sophisticated workflows, behaviors, and product vision.
Experience translating brand systems into product experiences while maintaining usability and accessibility.
Experience working in healthcare or a similar complex and regulated industry.
Experience designing products that make complex data understandable and actionable for a broad range of users.
Curiosity about emerging technology and AI-enabled design workflows, with a commitment to continually evolving design practice.

Translate customer needs, research insights, and complex health information into clear, seamless, and purposeful end-to-end experiences.
Use storytelling, prototypes, and design rationale to connect customer needs with product strategy and measurable business outcomes.
Elevate interaction and visual craft
Create polished experiences that improve usability, clarity, accessibility, and confidence.
Develop prototypes and product demos that help teams evaluate complex workflows, communicate product behavior, and refine solutions.
Translate brand principles into digital product experiences without compromising usability, accessibility, or trust.
Collaborate, influence, and raise the bar
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, Brand, Marketing, and business leaders throughout the product lifecycle.
Communicate design rationale, customer insights, and product recommendations clearly to cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
Lead critiques, workshops, and collaborative working sessions that strengthen decision-making and product quality.
Mentor peers, share best practices, and raise the standard for design craft, systems thinking, and customer-centered problem-solving.
Influence product strategy by identifying opportunities and framing effective solutions in ambiguous, complex spaces.
