About The Position

The Splunk Security Design team is a multidisciplinary group of UX designers, researchers, content strategists, accessibility specialists, and systems problem solvers. The team designs scalable, human-centered experiences that help organizations detect, investigate, and respond to threats. It partners with Product Management, Engineering, Research, and security teams across security operations, investigation workflows, threat detection, and AI-assisted experiences, while also contributing to research and design systems. The Senior Product Designer will focus primarily on Splunk Security experiences for Security Operations Center (SOC) users. In close partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers, the role involves understanding complex security workflows, identifying gaps and opportunities, exploring concepts, and translating requirements and technical capabilities into intuitive product experiences. The designer brings a strong user perspective to complex problems and helps cross-functional teams develop thoughtful, usable solutions. This is a remote U.S. position. The posting notes a strong preference for locations outside California, Washington, D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Alaska.
