About The Position

BILL is seeking a Senior Product Data Analyst to own analytics for its Payments products within Payments and Financial Services (PFS), including payment conversion and failures, card and pay-by-card, settlement, and monetization. This is a self-directed role focused on identifying opportunities, data gaps, and automation candidates, then using analysis and recommendations to shape product and roadmap decisions. The analyst will set the analytics agenda for payments, define business KPIs, and build production-grade data models, while partnering directly with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Finance, and go-to-market leadership. The role includes executive visibility and responsibility for driving decisions through analytics. The analyst will own the Payments analytics relationship by defining metrics and OKRs, establishing a recurring review cadence with Product, and leading deep dives. They will run experiments and apply causal inference, build and maintain dbt models with tests and documentation, use AI-assisted workflows, automate recurring reporting, and drive executive reporting adoption. They will also collaborate with data engineering and finance to validate data quality and metric definitions, reconcile payment data with source systems, and resolve discrepancies between documentation and implementation.
