Senior Product Analyst, Fraud

PersonaSan Francisco, CA

About The Position

Fraud is at the heart of what Persona does — and this role sits right at the center of it. As a Senior Fraud Product Analyst, you'll own high-impact analytics work that directly shapes how we detect, understand, and combat fraud across our platform, while also stepping into a leadership role managing a growing team of fraud analysts. This is a rare opportunity to combine deep technical craft with people management, and to build something that matters — at a company where fraud-fighting is core to the mission, not an afterthought.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in fraud, risk, or product analytics, with a strong technical foundation (SQL fluency is a must; comfort with data at scale is key)
  • People management experience, or a clear and demonstrated trajectory toward it — you’re someone who gets energized by developing others, not just doing the work yourself
  • The ability to go deep on IC analytical work while simultaneously building toward a management role — you’re comfortable doing both and see them as complementary, not competing
  • Strong communication skills — you can distill complex fraud findings into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences alike
  • A sharp eye for patterns and anomalies, and the critical thinking to know when something is worth digging into
  • An innate interest in the Persona side of things — you like to understand how our product works and what problems we solve for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end fraud analytics investigations, audits, and data tests from scoping to execution to delivering insights that drive product and customer decisions
  • Build and maintain fraud health metrics to track the efficacy of Persona's fraud-fighting capabilities over time
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative fraud findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Engineering, Product, and Customer-facing teams
  • Research emerging fraud trends and techniques to develop deep, current expertise in the identity verification space
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 6–9 fraud analysts, setting them up for growth while maintaining high standards for analytical rigor
  • Partner with Product to feed fraud insights back into the roadmap, helping prioritize the right improvements to our detection and prevention capabilities
  • Serve as the main escalation point for fraud-related questions from internal teams and, where relevant, customers
