Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial setting.
  • Completion of site-specific safety and operator training.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of chemicals or waste water treatment preferred.
  • Manufacturing or plant experience.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training (Site-Specific - Carbon).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper operation.
  • Load and unload deliveries to/from regional branches.
  • Enter required documentation into computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs when needed.
  • Contribute to overall division performance and results.
  • Support internal and external customer needs and expectations.
  • Bag products, prepare samples, and perform testing (Carbon Area).
  • Manage spent carbon feed to the reactivation furnace (Carbon Area).
  • Switch tank feeds between spent-carbon tanks (Carbon Area).
  • Calibrate pH probes (Carbon Area).
  • Operate a filter press (Carbon Area).
  • Run the facility wastewater treatment plant (Carbon Area).
  • Sort bottles by size and resin type (Regen Area).
  • Operate a forklift to move bottles/materials throughout the plant and on/off trucks (Regen Area).
  • Evacuate bottles and create resin batches (Regen Area).
  • Fill and conduct quality tests on SDI products (full start-to-finish process) (Regen Area).
