About The Position

ProSidian seeks a Senior Process Improvement Analyst for Program Support on an Exempt Basis for Working On-Site (Client Site) in The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Area (Aiken, South Carolina). This role is contract contingent and generally located across the Aiken, South Carolina region, supporting a High-hazard nuclear cleanup environment requiring disciplined staffing, safety, quality, security, and regulatory compliance. The Senior Process Improvement Analyst is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Process Improvement Analyst 4. This role shall be principally focused on ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Process Improvement (Process) Solutions and Services. We seek candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience to support professional services engagement for clients such as SRMC. This is a Process Improvement (Process) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional position, however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. The role provides services and support aligned with the Process Improvement (Process) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Industry Sector. This role focuses on Human Capital | Project Management | Engineering | Environmental | Compliance | Risk Management | IT Effectiveness | Business Process | Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) | SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program. The position is generally located in Aiken, South Carolina and across the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region, working On-Site (Client Site). The role provides Process Improvement (Process) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member, supporting process improvement activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support. The goal is to turn complex workflows into measurable improvements by leading Lean analysis, facilitation, implementation, and capability building.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 5+ years related experience in the process improvement or Project management field.
  • Candidates whose primary job experience has been outside of these areas, but who have gained and can demonstrate the requisite knowledge and expertise may be considered.
  • In these cases, the candidate must possess a BS degree and 5+ years of professional work experience.
  • This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector and Senior Process Improvement Analyst Candidates principally support Process Improvement (Process) Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Disciplines.
  • Primarily focused on Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities Process Improvement (Process) Functional Area Activities.
  • Lean/CPI events; process mapping; root-cause analysis; metrics; facilitation; training; change management; communications; implementation
  • Influence; facilitation; systems thinking; analytical rigor; coaching; stakeholder Engineering agement; results orientation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • LEAN experience with complex manufacturing processes and/or high hazard operations

Responsibilities

  • Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules, and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.
  • Participates and provides input in the process of establishing the annual CPI event calendar.
  • Leads and participates in process improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
  • Develops and leads pre-event activities and meetings associated with assigned events; ensuring Engineering agement of process owners and managers. Assigns more routine pre-event tasks to less experienced analysts.
  • Seasoned facilitator for moderately complex to complex CPI activities demonstrating a high degree of business acumen, intuitiveness to read the audience, and ability to neutrally guide the team in the appropriate manner for the most optimal outcome.
  • Provides and/or contributes to process critique and feedback for individual managers and for the group.
  • Provides path forward instruction and guidance, and follows up to ensure event outcomes are on track and realized.
  • Contributes to the development of alternative continuous process improvement methodologies, programs, processes, procedures, and communications (e.g. Visual Management, Pull Planning Standard Work, 5S, A3 Problem Solving, PDCA, 5 Whys). Implements as appropriate.
  • Educates and promotes CPI by delivering seminars, workshops and presenting to managers and employees.
  • Conducts statistical data analytics and may develop practical recommendations for improved business practices and processes focused on increased productivity and reduced cost without disregard for safety.
  • Conducts empirical research related to best business practices and provides recommendations as appropriate.
  • Periodically assesses in-process initiatives to ensure risks of failure are mitigated and corrective action is taken to recover if required.
  • Cultivates productive working relationships across the organization and routinely interfaces with team members, senior managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Applies subject matter expertise related to communication strategy and planning, and document management and templates.
  • Provides guidance to less experience analysts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Leads and participates in complex to highly complex process improvement initiatives with potential for high impact.
  • Facilitates and influences continuous process improvement (CPI) events of significant size/complexity (e.g. LEAN).
  • Considered subject matter expert providing training and mentoring to continuous process improvement activities and team members.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of alternative continuous process improvement methodologies, programs, processes, procedures, and communications.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and may guide less experienced analysts.
  • Support business development activities.
