About The Position

The Senior Principal, Product Marketing plays a critical role in shaping how Dun & Bradstreet’s solutions are positioned, understood, and adopted in the market. Sitting in the Marketing team, this role is responsible for developing buyer-centric messaging, positioning, and content that power effective go-to-market motions across priority solutions and industries. The Senior Principal, Product Marketing works closely with Marketing, Product, GTM, Commercial, Sales Enablement, and Content teams, the role translates deep customer and market insights into compelling narratives, launch assets, and enablement materials that drive pipeline, revenue, and customer adoption. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role ideal for someone who is intellectually curious, passionate about messaging and research, and energized by creating content that resonates with both executive and practitioner audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • At least 15 years relevant working experience with 3+ years B2B software content marketing experience for mid-market and enterprise business(es) in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with general aspects of risk management in one or more of the following areas: finance, compliance, and/or procurement.
  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter, passionate about marketing.
  • Proven ability to write and proof content on a variety of topics across multiple content formats and optimized for SEO, with a focus on digital environments and performance.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills – presenting/selling your ideas is important in this role.
  • Data/performance metrics-driven, you will be able to share examples of how you have used data-driven decision making.
  • Experience in self-publishing website content using Adobe Experience Manager a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites skills and document sharing tools (eg. Sharepoint).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter and buyer expert for assigned solutions and portfolios, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, buyer personas, use cases, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Lead the development of positioning, value propositions, and messaging that clearly articulate the differentiated value of Dun & Bradstreet’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to define buyer-centric go-to-market strategies, persona prioritization, and solution narratives.
  • Develop high-impact product and solution content across the buyer journey, including sales collateral, web copy, customer presentations, product demo scripts, videos (scripts and creative direction), and enablement assets.
  • Partner with Product & GTM on launches, enhancements, and strategic initiatives, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels.
  • Conduct and apply customer, market, and persona research to ensure insights are embedded into messaging, programs, and campaigns.
  • Work closely with Marketing to support the development and execution of integrated go-to-market programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to educate and equip customer-facing teams on buyer needs, solution value, and how to effectively communicate differentiated messaging.
  • Partner with Editorial Content and Brand teams to ensure portfolio and product messaging is accurately reflected across thought leadership, blogs, and broader editorial content.
  • Manage messaging for key events and webinars, ensuring consistency with portfolio narratives and maximum audience impact; present to internal and external audiences as required.
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize content and messaging performance using data and insights, continuously improving effectiveness and contribution to business goals.
  • Interview product and business stakeholders to distill complex capabilities into clear, concise, and compelling messaging.
  • Apply SEO best practices to digital content to drive long-term organic performance.
  • Perform writing, editing, and special project support as needed.
