About The Position

This is an individual-contributor role, not a team lead position. The consultant is expected to bring deep ONESOURCE Direct Tax expertise from the start and personally build solutions using AI, Power Automate, and other next-generation tools. The role partners with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to scope and deliver implementation projects, advise clients, and develop practical solutions and proofs of concept. The consultant works across multiple projects, helping customers improve tax processes and realize future-state solutions. The role also uses AI to create repeatable tools, processes, and practices that improve efficiency and profitability, while identifying expansion opportunities and sharing best practices with colleagues. The position’s stated U.S. base compensation range is $100,100–$185,900, with possible eligibility for an annual bonus based on enterprise and individual performance.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in professional services or a similar field implementing ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions.
Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI, such as Claude, to build customer solutions.
Expert-level implementation knowledge of ASC 740 tax provision processes.
Expert-level implementation knowledge of ONESOURCE Tax Provision or ONESOURCE Income Tax, Workpapers, and Data Import.
Expert-level implementation knowledge of ONESOURCE DataFlow and ONESOURCE APIs.
Expert-level experience with Power Automate, Alteryx, KNIME, or similar tools for ONESOURCE and tax-centric automations.
Expert-level experience with Power BI or similar API-enabled dashboards.
Expert-level experience building advanced Excel-based tax workbooks, including Power Query, OData connections, dynamic arrays, and Data Validation.
Bachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills.

Experience with ONESOURCE Data Hub or General Ledger Manager.
Experience with ONESOURCE Data Query.
Experience with ONESOURCE Income Tax and State Apportionment.
Experience with ONESOURCE Workflow and Calendar.

Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to scope projects.
