About The Position

This role involves working independently at client sites to ensure project organizational designs, test concepts, and test plans are feasible, technically adequate, and well-integrated with supporting test sites. The position requires comprehensive knowledge and direct experience with Navy developmental and operational test organizations to facilitate integrated test program implementation. The expert will advise CNA leadership and partner with project directors to effectively support and coordinate with sponsoring organizations. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field required, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Eighteen years of cumulative experience in military flight testing, naval aviation operations and military air system acquisitions required.
• Direct experience with both air developmental test and operational test is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational management of flight test organizations and conduct of flight testing.
• Ability to derive novel flight test design from technical requirements and guide test plan creation.
• Capacity to coordinate test organization, acquisition program and service security stakeholder planning.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Nice To Haves

• Accredited military Test Pilot School graduate strongly preferred.
• Executive leadership experience of a military flight test organization strongly preferred.
