About The Position

Transit Technologies is transforming public transportation systems through modern SaaS platforms, data intelligence, and AI-driven insights. We partner with transit agencies and mobility providers to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, rider experience, and system performance. As we scale our product portfolio and AI capabilities, we are seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy, monetization, and AI-enabled pricing optimization across our SaaS and transit solutions. The Senior Pricing Manager will own the development, execution, and continuous optimization of pricing strategy across our SaaS platforms and AI-powered solutions. This role blends SaaS monetization expertise, transit industry knowledge, and advanced analytics to drive sustainable revenue growth and margin expansion. You will leverage data science, AI tools, and advanced modeling to enhance pricing decisions, optimize deal structures, and support long-term partnerships with transit agencies and enterprise mobility operators.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in pricing, revenue strategy, or monetization within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong expertise in SaaS pricing models (ARR, MRR, usage-based, enterprise, hybrid).
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, advanced analytics, or data science methodologies for pricing optimization.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel, BI tools, SQL or similar).
  • Experience supporting enterprise or public sector sales cycles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in transit, mobility, transportation technology, or GovTech.
  • Familiarity with public transit agency procurement and funding structures.
  • Experience working with pricing optimization platforms or AI forecasting tools.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Data Science.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve pricing models for SaaS and AI-driven solutions (subscription, usage-based, tiered, enterprise, outcome-based, hybrid models).
  • Design monetization strategies for data products, analytics tools, and AI-enabled features.
  • Align pricing structures with value delivered to transit agencies.
  • Lead packaging and bundling strategies tailored to public sector procurement and enterprise contracts.
  • Design pricing for new product launches and feature expansions.
  • Leverage AI tools and advanced analytics to model pricing elasticity, discount optimization, and revenue scenarios.
  • Implement predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy and customer lifetime value modeling.
  • Conduct experimentation (A/B testing, segmentation analysis) to optimize pricing and packaging.
  • Partner with Data Science and Product teams to embed pricing intelligence into internal dashboards.
  • Build and maintain advanced pricing and revenue models.
  • Analyze ARR, MRR, churn, expansion, and usage trends to inform pricing adjustments.
  • Partner with Finance to optimize margin performance and long-term profitability.
  • Conduct competitive pricing analysis within SaaS and mobility/transit technology markets.
  • Analyze procurement trends, public sector funding cycles, and RFP structures.
  • Monitor industry benchmarks and recommend pricing adjustments to maintain market leadership.
  • Support Sales in complex, multi-year enterprise and public sector negotiations.
  • Develop intelligent discount frameworks supported by predictive modeling.
  • Establish pricing governance processes and approval workflows.
  • Create self-service pricing tools and calculators for Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Collaborate with Product to quantify value metrics and monetization opportunities.
  • Work with Marketing on positioning and value communication.
  • Present pricing recommendations and business cases to executive leadership.
