This role is responsible for managing the full product PR lifecycle, including messaging development, press release drafting, embargo coordination, reviewer outreach, and post-launch amplification for all Elgato New Product Introductions (NPIs) and partnership announcements. The position also involves building and maintaining media lists, developing reviewer briefing kits, managing seeding strategies for new product categories, and tracking review sentiment, message pull-through, and share of voice. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with Corsair Gaming and Fanatec teams on coordinated launches, developing proactive story angles, drafting thought leadership pieces, building quarterly PR plans, monitoring competitive communications, and advising on announcement timing. The Senior PR Manager will also extend Elgato's reach into professional markets by developing B2B-specific messaging, writing for Pro AV and broadcast trade press, creating vertical positioning, producing case studies and white papers, and supporting the B2B team with outreach. Event and speaker PR responsibilities include developing event PR timelines, securing speaking opportunities, and preparing speaker briefing documents. Crisis and issues management involves developing crisis playbooks, drafting statements, and providing real-time messaging counsel. The role also entails defining global messaging frameworks, setting the PR calendar, leading and coordinating a global PR team, establishing a measurement framework, and building global media database and press kit infrastructure. Finally, the position will leverage AI to build a systematic earned media approach for AI-generated search answers, accelerate various PR tasks using AI tools, and apply AI to media monitoring, list research, and coverage reporting.
