Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operational PR, ideally in an agency environment, with a proven track record of independently placing clients in leading German and trade media.
• Solid consulting skills, ability to analyze target groups and markets, translate corporate goals into PR strategies, derive measurable actions, and accompany clients as a reliable sparring partner.
• A strong network of journalists and the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.
• Actively monitor the news landscape and identify topic potentials before others do.
• Work independently, contribute to the team, and share knowledge openly.
• Pragmatically use AI tools to accelerate processes, allowing more time for content depth and creative ideas.
• C2 level German language proficiency, professional communication skills in English, and residency in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop individual PR strategies for B2B and B2C clients with a clear focus on topic placement in relevant media, combining journalistic thinking and strategic communication.
• Manage client communication professionally, plan proactively (e.g., with quarterly plans & KPIs), and build long-term relationships.
• Proactively introduce topics and continuously develop client communication, acting as a sparring partner at C-level.
• Actively work with the internal AI stack for research, pitch preparation, and topic scouting, investing saved time in substance, relationships, and creativity.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with journalists from key media outlets in the DACH region and Europe.
