About The Position

WuXi AppTec is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented PR & Communications Sr. Manager who will develop and manage media relationships. This position will operate within the corporate communications department and partner with internal and external stakeholders. WuXi AppTec provides a broad portfolio of R&D and manufacturing services that enable companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries worldwide to advance discoveries and deliver groundbreaking treatments to patients. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Science is preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in PR and corporate communications, ideally within life sciences, healthcare, or B2B tech/service sector in-house or agency experiences
• Strong writing and editing skills tailored for digital and social platforms
• Strong experience driving multi-platform campaigns independently or through vendor partnerships
• Hands-on knowledge of SEO, content performance metrics, generative AI tools, and campaign measurement frameworks
• A collaborative team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, evolving global communications environment
• Industry knowledge in biotech, pharma, CRO/CDMO, or scientific R&D services
• Experience working in global teams across time zones and cultural contexts
• Confidence in managing stakeholders across functions—marketing, scientific, executive, operations

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes integrated communications campaigns across paid, earned, social, and owned channels.
• Works closely with internal teams and agencies to manage editorial calendars and collaborations.
• Uses data and analytics to shape content decisions, track engagement performance, and continuously optimize outreach.
• Stays on top of emerging trends in AI-driven content creation, generative search, and social listening tools.
