About The Position

Fervo Energy is seeking senior engineers to help develop and optimize innovative geothermal power plants. The Senior Power Engineer will serve as a technical leader, applying advanced engineering judgment and first-principles analysis to create high-performance, cost-effective designs. The role includes mentoring junior engineers, influencing cross-disciplinary decisions, and advancing standardization and efficiency as Fervo scales from first-of-a-kind projects to broader deployment. The position reports to the Power Engineering Manager (GRID Manager). The role requires regular in-office presence at Fervo’s Houston office and is eligible for the company’s hybrid work policy. Team members are expected to work in the office three days per week. Travel to field and project sites may be required as operational needs dictate.
