About The Position

Quento Technologies, the ICT arm of the Qualco Group, is seeking a Senior Power BI & Data Specialist to deliver analytics and data solutions. Quento provides solutions across AI, Digital Engineering, Cloud, and Cybersecurity, with a presence in Greece, Luxembourg, and Belgium. The role supports clients and stakeholders through reporting, data-driven decision-making, and the continuous improvement of data products and analytics services. It is performed offsite under a B2B contract. The specialist will design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical solutions; build Python-based data processing and automation; and maintain SQL queries for reporting and analysis. The role also uses Databricks and modern analytics platforms to support scalable solutions. It involves gathering and validating business requirements, translating business needs into technical deliverables, supporting user-facing analytical interfaces, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. The specialist will work with international, multicultural business and technical stakeholders, promote analytics best practices and data quality, and ensure activities comply with regulatory requirements and the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least six years of experience in data management and software development, gained after completing university studies.
Proficiency in two or more of the following: business intelligence tools, data visualisation, controlled terminologies, business glossaries and ontologies, data architectures, data integration pipelines, data validation processes and pipelines, and master data management.
Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including data modelling, Power Query, dashboard and report development, and semantic models.
Strong experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting solutions.
Experience with Databricks, SQL, Python, cloud-based analytics environments, and containerized platforms such as Kubernetes for scalable data and reporting solutions.
Experience with data integration and analytics platforms; gathering and documenting business requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders; and translating business needs into technical deliverables and analytical solutions.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, tools, and technologies, with hands-on experience in Azure environments.
Experience developing or supporting analytical and user-facing reporting interfaces.
Ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences.
Familiarity with modern BI and data engineering practices.
Ability to confidently facilitate discussions and workshops with business and technical stakeholders in English.
English fluency at C1 level or higher according to the CEFR.
