Power BI Data Engineer

Legence•Minneapolis, MN
•$105,000 - $120,000•Remote

About The Position

Legence is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Data Engineer who combines data engineering expertise with data visualization abilities. This hands-on role involves architecting data solutions and creating dashboards that turn complex data into actionable intelligence. The role interacts directly with end users on requirements, testing, and implementation. It is remote, with a preference for alignment to one of Legence’s office locations. The position covers Power BI development and visualization, data engineering and architecture, and technical implementation. The engineer will build advanced reports and dashboards, scalable data pipelines, dimensional data models, and warehouse or lake solutions; configure Power BI and Fabric environments; protect data; and optimize performance across the BI development lifecycle. The role requires daily interaction with data, code, and visualization design, and ownership of solutions from the ground up. The base salary is $105,000–$120,000 per year. The role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus plan based on company and individual performance. Sponsorship is unavailable; candidates must have current U.S. work authorization.
