About The Position

Stryker’s Upper Extremities division is committed to facilitating superior outcomes for our Shoulder Arthroplasty customers. Our business prioritizes enhancing clinical outcomes, streamlining complex procedures, and driving innovation through the adoption of advanced, industry-leading technologies. In this role, the Senior Portfolio Manager, Upstream Marketing will be responsible for managing programs within our growing portfolio of enabling technologies for Shoulder Arthroplasty. This position is based in our Columbia City, IN or Bloomington, MN with a hybrid occasional work from home flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of work experience
  • Medical device marketing or sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market and competitive landscapes by building networks, gathering intelligence, and understanding competitor positioning, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Develop and communicate product value propositions that align with customer needs and effectively engage key stakeholders.
  • Identify customer insights and growth opportunities by uncovering unmet needs, new customer segments, and opportunities to enhance technology programs.
  • Partner cross-functionally and globally to define enabling technology strategies and align business objectives across marketing, R&D, finance, sales, and operations.
  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) initiatives from concept through execution, coordinating key stakeholders and driving successful program delivery.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans including business reviews, proposals, recommendations, and leadership updates.
  • Support business planning and financial strategy through forecasting, pricing strategy, resource planning, project charters, CERs, and business case development.
  • Build strong clinical and surgeon relationships by engaging key opinion leaders and supporting clinical evidence strategies that strengthen the Upper Extremities portfolio.

  • Pay Ranges: US5 : $107,700 - $179,600 USD Annual
  • Travel Percentage: 40%
