Senior Platform Software Engineer

OracleNashville, TN
$92,500 - $209,500

About The Position

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team is building and operating a broad set of highly available, massively scalable cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. OCI provides engineers with the opportunity to work on systems that directly power business-critical workloads for customers across commercial, government, sovereign, and regulated cloud regions. We are seeking hands-on engineers who are passionate about solving complex distributed systems problems, building resilient production services, and enhancing the internal platforms that enable OCI teams to build, validate, secure, and release software safely at cloud scale. At OCI, engineers have a significant technical and business impact by designing, implementing, operating, and improving foundational systems used across Oracle Cloud. The OCI BUILD team is responsible for critical internal build infrastructure and services used by OCI engineering teams to produce, validate, secure, and publish software artifacts. BUILD systems are integral to OCI’s software supply chain, release velocity, security posture, and operational reliability, sitting between source code and production deployment. The team focuses on distributed build services, build orchestration, CI/CD integrations, artifact publishing workflows, dependency management, build isolation, security controls, operational automation, compliance support, and enhancing the developer experience for internal OCI service teams. BUILD engineers collaborate closely with deployment, artifact, pipeline, security, compliance, region build, and service-owner teams to improve software build and release processes across OCI.
