About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) builds cloud services for enterprises. The Generative AI Code Assist Service team delivers services at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. Oracle Agent Platform is a managed platform for building, deploying, governing, and operating AI agents at enterprise scale across OCI. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Generative AI Oracle Agent Platform team, you will develop and operate cloud services using generative AI technologies. You will own software architecture and development for the Oracle Generative AI Agent Platform Service, contribute to distributed, highly available services and virtualized infrastructure, and design systems that support customers’ business-critical applications. The role calls for hands-on coding and broad distributed-systems expertise, with the ability to work independently, provide technical leadership, and balance speed and quality through iterative improvements. You will own a bounded platform component, such as a service module or SDK area, and evolve its contracts for multi-tenant use. You will debug across a limited service graph, implement resilience and capacity improvements, and document guidance for team consumers. The role also includes software design, testing, optimization, API lifecycle and interoperability work, customer issue resolution, secure development, and system maintenance. Senior engineers recommend and justify product changes, build consensus using data, and promote proactive operational excellence.
