About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Platform Operations Engineer to lead high-impact, strategic, technical projects that will drive the operational scalability of the organization as we rapidly grow. This role will operate at the intersection of technology and business strategy and serve as a critical bridge across functional areas, including our Engineering, Product, Data, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams. You will take significant ownership in high-visibility customer-facing and business operations systems in building core parts of our product to support our rapid growth, optimizing our current tech stack and architecture, leading evaluation and procurement of new platforms, and designing and building custom solutions when market offerings don’t meet our needs.
The ideal candidate will complement the organization with a unique blend of business / operations experience, technical capability across systems architecture and development in production environments, understanding of SaaS processes, and a passion to build systems to drive proactive, scalable, and data-driven business and customer management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and scaling technical solutions, including proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of system design and scalable architecture principles
• Experience working cross-functionally across stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, including ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights
• Startup mindset with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and pragmatism in building and shipping technical solutions
• Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance
• Bias for action - you move quickly from idea to implementation
• Willingness to work in person at our offices 4-5 days a week

Nice To Haves

• Experience with platform architecture and analytics in a SaaS environment
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Understanding of SaaS metrics, strategies, and lifecycle management

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional technical projects and own, optimize, and build upon our product and proprietary business operations systems to enable our rapid growth
• Conduct deep discovery on stakeholder needs across customers and functional areas within EliseAI to enhance automation, AI-enabled user experiences, analytics, and scalability across workflows, and own adoption and outcomes
• Collaborate with customers on how we can best support them at the intersection of critical milestones in their journey
• Continuously ship new features and improvements in an engineering environment deploying 100+ times per day
• Balance speed and quality while iterating quickly on production systems
• Evaluate, select, and tune new, market-leading technologies based on technical and business requirements
