Loop is hiring a hands-on individual contributor to strengthen the platform foundation that enables engineers to deliver quickly, reliably, and confidently. The role builds infrastructure, improves delivery workflows, investigates production behavior, and helps engineers operate more independently. It also contributes to Loop’s technical direction and to the engineering environment used by both people and AI agents. The immediate priorities are developer self-service, safer releases, and reducing operational toil. The engineer will identify complexity and manual work, then deliver practical improvements across Loop’s AWS and Kubernetes environment and related systems. The role involves technical work, collaboration, coaching, and technical leadership, including partnership with product, data, and security colleagues. Success includes establishing an understanding of the environment, earning trust, and delivering an evidence-backed plan with early improvements. Over time, infrastructure and delivery work should become more self-service, releases easier to verify and recover from, operational noise and recurring incidents should decrease, and platform knowledge should be shared more broadly. Agent-assisted workflows should produce better results with appropriate checks and human accountability.
