About The Position

The posting title is Senior Planning & Deployment Engineer, while the role description itself identifies the position as a Principal Operational Excellence Program Manager. The role establishes a dedicated Center of Excellence at the intersection of people, process, technology, and data-driven analytics. It owns end-to-end process optimization using Lean Six Sigma methods, directs technology-overlay integrations and application architectures, and builds organizational capability through change management, role mapping, and skills development. The position aims to improve execution predictability, reduce defects, and capture value so Low Voltage Deployment Engineers and vendor teams can deliver cloud infrastructure capacity with velocity, quality, and repeatability. The position formalizes an Operational Excellence charter and multi-year strategy across a four-phase Target Operating Model lifecycle, establishes governance and performance dashboards, maps and improves global processes, and designs standardized procedures. It partners with systems design, architecture, and automation teams on technology integrations and workflow automation. It also defines Center of Excellence structures, capability development, and change-management plans; develops performance and value-capture measures; governs vendor service delivery; and oversees design-change requests and deployment risks. Success is described as transforming the Data Center Build and Deployment organization into a data-driven, continuous-improvement-led operating model. The role is expected to establish a mature Center of Excellence, deploy scalable technology overlays, standardize Lean Six Sigma workflows, reduce field friction, rework, and design defects, and accelerate data-center build velocity and value capture. Oracle describes a comprehensive benefits package that includes insurance, disability and life coverage, flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, retirement savings with company match, paid time off and holidays, paid sick leave and parental leave, adoption assistance, stock purchase, financial planning, group legal, and voluntary insurance benefits. The stated U.S. hiring range is $126,200–$264,100 per annum; the role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
