•$100,000 - $125,000

About The Position

Hims & Hers is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Planner to own supply planning for finished goods, including generic Rx, branded, and non-Rx products. The role determines order mix and quantities to support sales and inventory goals while optimizing storage capacity. The Senior Planner is expected to improve planning processes by building tools and metrics that support operations planning. The position also supports raw material and packaging planning and special projects as the team's scope grows. The Senior Planner mentors and cross-trains other planners and helps establish planning standards across categories.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in supply or inventory planning; finished goods experience in a regulated, lot-controlled environment such as pharma, OTC, or CPG is ideal.
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets, including data manipulation such as lookups, PivotTables, and external data connections.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Ability to think through complex problems and resolve conflicts arising from balancing multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years of experience with ERP, planning, and replenishment systems.
  • SQL experience; BigQuery is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own buying recommendations for generic Rx, branded, and non-Rx finished goods based on reorder points, safety stock, and the demand forecast.
  • Partner with Demand Planning to flag forecast changes that affect the supply plan and align on risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Supply Chain on supplier allocations, minimum order quantities, and lead times so buying recommendations reflect supply constraints.
  • Plan inventory across multiple sites and recommend purchase order reroutes to balance stock and prevent shortages.
  • Perform weekly inventory reconciliation to ensure inventory data is accurate.
  • Track and report Weeks of Cover, excess and obsolete inventory, and inventory turns for assigned categories, and own corrective actions when metrics drift.
  • Balance service levels against inventory investment and flag the working capital impact of buy decisions to Finance.
  • Track upcoming expirations, NDC changes, new product launches, and SKU transitions; coordinate with other material planners so packaging, collateral, and finished-goods inventory cut over together, and coordinate with sites to quarantine and dispose of product.
  • Articulate and document inventory-related risks, including disposals, expiration risks, and shortages.
  • Present buy, risk, and disposal recommendations to Ops Planning leadership and cross-functional partners, and drive decisions to closure.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Operations partners to solve inventory overages and shortages.
  • Identify gaps in planning processes and tools and improve them, partnering with analytics to automate reporting and buying recommendations.
  • Mentor and cross-train other planners and help set planning standards across categories.
  • Support raw material and packaging planning and special projects as the team's scope grows.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity compensation for full-time roles.
  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Parental leave.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
  • 401(k) benefits with employer matching contribution.
  • Offsite team retreats.
