Other specialty topics include evaluation of hydraulic transients, thermal stratification effects, operability evaluations, qualification of piping for hydrodynamic loads, pipe rupture evaluations, pipe wall thinning due to flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) or microbiological induced corrosion (MIC), and pipe flaw evaluations. As a Senior Piping Stress Engineer, this role provides senior-level technical support by performing complex engineering tasks, including the preparation and review of calculations and designs. The position is responsible for the preparation and completion of discipline engineering designs that meet project needs and involves monitoring the work of assigned staff to ensure requirements are met.
