About The Position

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience designing, programming, and administering physical security access control and video surveillance systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of physical security technologies and concepts.
  • Basic telecommunications networking knowledge (IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, HTTP).
  • An Associate’s Degree in electronics, electrical or computer systems, or four years of relevant field experience, or equivalent combination of collegiate education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills - ability to break down a complex problem into its primitives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments and ensure the projects are tracking to deliverable dates.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Professional at all times with all levels of the company.
  • Ability to accomplish projects with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in basic G Suite tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Responsibilities

  • Define design, installation, and project management standards for the Physical Security Technology Expansion Program.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and Service Level Agreements across internal team members and external service providers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.
  • Program, test, and commission new physical security systems installations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot physical security systems and components.
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation, including as-builts, programming sheets, playbooks, templates, etc.
  • Support security technology evaluations performed by the Technical Security Programs team.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports (card access activity, equipment inventories, etc.).
  • Maintain the physical security systems spares inventory.
  • Generate physical security device layouts in accordance with Physical Security Standards.
  • Generate scopes of work for new system installations.
  • Conduct technical site surveys, where necessary.
