Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group is looking for Senior Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. As a Senior Pharmacy Technician at Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, you’ll use your empathy and listening skills to handle inbound calls from patients and learn more about their medical history and challenges with fertility. This is not your average customer service job – you’ll work for a company that truly cares about people while helping our patients achieve happiness.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or GED required.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Valid National Pharmacy Technician certification is required.
  • Valid Massachusetts, Illinois or Arizona state Pharmacy Technician license is required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in both PC/Phone related tasks.
  • Works effectively and fosters teamwork; Demonstrates ownership of projects and carries responsibility for building strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Results oriented; demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year(s) of call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with patients to coordinate fertility plans and medications.
  • Own the patient experience through resolving customer issues and ensuring 100% follow-up to customers while delivering an excellent customer service experience to all patients.
  • Accurately obtain and enter patient information, including shipping, insurance, and payment details.
  • Escalate complex claims to the appropriate team for further action.
  • Accurately perform data entry tasks and enter prescriptions into our system.
  • Use the knowledge you gain from training, your problem-solving skills and support from your team to accurately process prescription claims so they will be dispensed accurately.
  • Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as it pertains to specific contract performance
  • Maintain required quality performance standards by delivering excellent customer service, adhering to phone and break schedules, and following established call handling guidelines.
