Requirements

Registered with the GPhC
Comprehensive experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting
Comprehensive experience of supervising/ training/ assessing students or staff
A postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent

Responsibilities

Act as an independent prescriber to optimise patient care
Provide expert clinical advice and medicines optimisation to the multidisciplinary team
Lead and participate in audit, research, and quality improvement projects
Provide training, supervision, and education to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
Deliver and develop specialist clinical pharmacy services for Acute & Emergency Medicine
Monitor, analyse, and manage medicines expenditure and support cost‑improvement initiatives
