About The Position
Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist for Emergency Medicine at Baptist Health Floyd, Pharmacy Services. This is a Full-Time position (40 Hours/Week) with a schedule of Four Days (8:30 am - 7:00 pm). Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a minimum of a BS in Pharmacy
- Indiana Pharmacist Registration
- Hospital experience
Nice To Haves
- PharmD (Preferred)
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency (Preferred)
- Board certification in pharmacotherapy, Emergency Medicine or equivalent (preferred)
- ACLS Certification (Will Provide)
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to support antimicrobial stewardship for Baptist Health Floyd patients in the Emergency Department including optimizing medication therapies
- Drug preparation and distribution for medications at Baptist Health Floyd
- Evaluate, input, and verify new medication orders
- Assist providers and other healthcare professions by serving as a drug information resource
- Manage Pharmacy inventory
