About The Position

Verkada is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to support leaders across its global Marketing organization. This role is crucial for driving growth by partnering with leaders to build high-performing organizations, develop talent, and scale the company during rapid transformation. The position offers an opportunity to shape the future of a growing global marketing organization, influence critical business decisions, and contribute to the company's evolution. The role requires a commitment to an in-office culture, with 5 days a week on-site at the San Mateo, CA office.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of HRBP or People Business Partner experience
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative, scalable solutions to complex people and organizational challenges
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization with sound judgment and strong business acumen
  • Thrives in an environment where People Partners take broad ownership across talent, leadership, and organizational initiatives rather than relying on specialized COEs
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate people data into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence change, and execute effectively in a rapidly evolving organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must be willing and able to commute to San Mateo 5 days in office
  • Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role, at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Marketing leaders on organizational effectiveness, organizational health, team performance, leadership coaching, and talent strategy.
  • Partner closely with leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities through coaching, feedback, and development planning.
  • Use data and insights to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and influence business decisions.
  • Develop innovative and pragmatic people solutions to address organizational challenges, unlock team performance, and support evolving business needs.
  • Build and drive talent initiatives across performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development.
  • Help leaders navigate ambiguity, growth, and change while maintaining a high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and investigations.
