About The Position

Tennr is a company that aims to prevent delays and denials in medical referrals by ensuring that every referral gets to the right specialist with the correct information at the right time. They achieve this through their proprietary technology, RaeLM™, which processes patient information to help providers capture more referrals, reduce denials, and minimize delays. The Senior People Operations Associate will play a key role in managing and improving the employee lifecycle and HR operations within this fast-paced, high-growth organization.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HRBP, or a similar role, ideally at a fast-paced, high-growth organization
  • Proven ability to run core people processes independently with high attention to detail and a hunger for automation
  • Strong understanding of benefits administration, HR systems, and employment compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists.
  • A people-first approach balanced with strong business judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Own employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and internal mobility.
  • Ensure a world-class onboarding experience that sets new hires up for immediate impact and long-term success.
  • Manage HR systems and data (e.g., HRIS, benefits platforms), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability.
  • Drive people processes forward by documenting, refining, and improving workflows as the company grows.
  • Partner with leaders to support performance cycles, feedback processes, and employee development initiatives. Represent People Ops as a trusted, approachable partner across the organization.
  • Support compensation and equity administration in close collaboration with leadership and finance.
  • Maintain benefits programs (healthcare, 401k matching, PTO) and act as a knowledgeable, trusted resource for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and best practices while keeping things pragmatic and human.
  • Champion culture initiatives that reinforce Tennr’s values and strengthen in-office collaboration.
  • Analyze people data and surface insights that help leadership make better decisions.
  • Support employee relations with discretion, fairness, and strong judgment.
