About The Position

Greenfield is looking for a Senior People & Culture Generalist to join our growing team. As a Senior People & Culture Generalist at Greenfield Global, you'll be at the forefront of our employee experience, providing front-line employee life cycle support for your designated site(s). You'll collaborate with P&C Partners and P&C Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver consistent, compliant, and people-first solutions. This role reports to the Senior People & Culture Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Deep knowledge of HR policies, procedures, principles, processes, and regulations, with comfort advising others in these areas.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, effective communication (written, verbal, and listening), and facilitation experience.
  • Demonstrated behaviors supporting Greenfield Global’s Values (Innovative, Collaboration, Responsibility, Agility and Discipline).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work primarily in an office environment and engage with employees in a manufacturing environment as needed, following all required safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Human resources certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR).
  • Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS), preferably Dayforce.

Responsibilities

  • Provides P&C service delivery to the staff in all matters related to their employment, and acts as the frontline position providing general information, answering routine questions, and assisting staff to understand policies and procedures related to People & Culture.
  • Conduct 30, 60, 90 Day Reviews to aide in retention efforts and ascertain employee satisfaction.
  • Complete employment verifications and general requests for information
  • Retains records in accordance with state and federal document retention requirements.
  • Ensures labor law postings are current and compliant with state and federal standards.
  • Serve as the primary P&C contact for a designated client group of approximately 200-250 employees across multiple sites, providing day-to-day employee and manager support.
  • Coordinate employee life cycle activities, including onboarding and offboarding, and process employee changes through Dayforce, HireRight and the IT Service Portal.
  • Support annual performance review, compensation analysis and talent assessment processes.
  • Support recognition programs at the site and administer various People and Culture programs such as Birthdays, Service Awards and more
  • Assist with terminations and related documentation
  • Organize and manage employee events including company celebrations, leadership visits, Lunch and Learns, etc.
  • Manage the employee exit process, partnering with managers and P&C Partners to ensure timely separations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for leave management and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, partnering with P&C Partners as needed.
  • Assist with unemployment claims.
  • Maintain employment authorization documentation by managing Form I-9 files within HireRight and completing periodic audits to support compliance.
  • Maintain accurate digital HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain site communications by keeping the GTV Displays accurate and ensuring updates are posted across the site.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions (as needed) and keep orientation content current, relevant, and aligned to site needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve P&C processes and efficiency partnering with P&C Managers and P&C COEs to implement enhancements that strengthen the employee and manager experience.
