About The Position

The Sr. HR Business Partner will report directly to the HR Director. This position will be responsible for driving HR strategies and initiatives that align with the Home Office business objectives, ensuring a positive employee experience, and supporting the overall growth and success of our corporate operations. The Sr. HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic HR support across multiple corporate functions, and will lead key HR processes, including talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years’ experience as a HR Business Partner for a high-growth retail company
  • A proven ability to break down larger initiatives into consumable achievable tasks to achieve departmental and company objectives
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well in paced retail environment
  • Ability to clearly articulate plans and ensure team alignment
  • A solutions-oriented mentality with a data driven approach
  • High level of discretion
  • A growth mindset: track record of leveraging past learnings, encouraging new ideas and smart risk taking in self and others
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strategies of the business are supported with resources and HR programs to create a unique Kendra Scott advantage.
  • Support decision making to ensure people's implications of business decisions are known, well thought out, addressed and communicated.
  • Develop a consultative role with managers to encourage the development & retention of top talent
  • Foster core pillars and ensure sustainment of company culture during a period of high growth.
  • Promote continuous feedback and encourage iterative improvement to optimize company performance and ensure alignment towards company goals.
  • Support and coach managers through employee relations resolutions
  • Proactive identification and resolution of engagement issues, business needs, staffing & resource needs, misalignment, communication & process gaps through relationships, satisfaction surveys, new hire check-ins, and exit feedback
  • Partner with managers on action planning based on incoming feedback
  • Partner with HR functional teams, support teams and business units to communicate needs and discuss potential solutions
  • Partner with HR functional teams and business operations teams to facilitate execution of solutions
  • Follow up on leadership training to ensure successful execution and coach through individual scenarios/challenges
  • Conduct employee relations investigations
  • Proactively manage risk; ensure compliance with company guidelines and governmental regulations
