About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Post-Silicon Validation Engineer to validate features on silicon for products spanning consumer graphics, gaming, deep learning, and other computing applications. The role involves hands-on lab work, understanding design and implementation, defining validation scope, developing post-silicon verification infrastructure, implementing test and coverage plans, and validating design correctness. The engineer will collaborate across ASIC, software, and system teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in EE, ECE, CS, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of meaningful validation experience.
Exposure to design and verification tools, such as VCS or equivalent simulation tools, and debug tools such as Debussy and GDB.
Expertise in Python and/or Perl.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to work as a collaborative colleague.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive issues to closure.

Nice To Haves

Experience with bus protocols such as PCI Express, SATA, or USB, or interconnect verification.
Background with lab equipment, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

Validate features on silicon using hands-on lab equipment such as logic analyzers.
Understand design and implementation and define validation scope.
Develop post-silicon verification infrastructure, including test plans, tests, and scripts to analyze data.
Implement test and coverage plans and validate design correctness.
Work cross-functionally with ASIC, software, and system teams to accomplish tasks.
Drive issues to closure.
