Explore this opportunity: As a Senior Patient Registrar, you will register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you will obtain demographic details, insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You’ll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients obtaining services. You will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Three years of clerical experience
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Telephone & customer service skills
- All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

- Completed some college coursework and are familiar with health insurance requirements
