Lake Charles Bible Church (LCBC) is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to preach the Word of God and shepherd the people of God. LCBC began as multiple home meetings in the early 1930s and held its first service as an interdenominational church in 1934. The congregation has had five pastors since 1949, with the current pastor serving for twenty-eight years and planning to retire. The church has experienced rebuilding after fire and flood, with a new building currently under construction. LCBC has 74 active members and averages about one hundred attendees on Sundays. The church is elder-led and supported by deacons, with main purposes focused on evangelism, discipleship, and worship. Ministries include Sunday School, worship team, small groups, men and women's ministries, Awana, youth, and college ministries. LCBC joined the Independent Fundamental Churches of America (IFCA) in 1976 and supports two camp ministries, Camp Pearl and Bertram Bobb Bible Camp, as well as multiple full-time international missionaries.
