About The Position

Lott Oil Company is a growing Family Business seeking a driver in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area. We offer great equipment, stability, and understand the importance of work/life balance. The role involves loading and delivering hazardous materials, such as fuel and oil products, to various locations including convenience stores and industrial customers. Drivers are expected to adhere to all Local and Federal regulations while operating a commercial vehicle. Salary is freight based.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
• 25 years of Age
• 2 year verifiable commercial driving experience
• Current DOT physical
• Must pass DOT drug screen
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb ladder

Nice To Haves

• 5 years driving
• 1 year fuel hauling
• TWIC Card
• Terminal Certifications

Responsibilities

• Meet Scheduled Deliveries
• Accurate and Timely submission of all paperwork
• Assist in maintaining truck and trailer equipment through daily pre/post trip inspections
• Cooperate with all truck and trailer maintenance scheduling
• Make sure assigned truck and trailer are kept clean and presentable to public
• Follow all company safety and operating procedures and policies
• Perform responsibilities and task as defined by management
