About The Position

Resident Advisor (RA) is a leading music media brand in the dance and electronic music ecosystem, operating a complex global business across ticketing, media, events, agency services, and software. As RA enters its next phase, the focus is on building efficient systems and infrastructure for scaling. The Senior Partnerships Lead - North America is responsible for RA's commercial performance in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, driving new business, renewals, media revenue, and ticket volume. This role involves managing a book of business, leading a team of Partnerships Managers and a Promoter Support Coordinator, and developing the revenue team's strategy and capabilities. The position requires a deep understanding of the North American electronic music scene and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable community.

Requirements

  • Embedded in the North American electronic music scene, with an existing network across promoters, venues, festivals and agencies.
  • A genuine passion for and understanding of electronic music culture and the industry that surrounds it.
  • At least five years' experience in sales, partnerships or account management, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • At least two years' people-management experience, including setting targets, coaching, developing colleagues and holding a team accountable.
  • Demonstrable experience closing complex, multi-year partnership deals and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Strong commercial instincts and confidence with pricing, deal structure, margin and forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building and client-service skills.
  • A disciplined approach to CRM and pipeline management.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, New York, with willingness to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Own the North American revenue number across new business, re-signs and media for the USA, Canada and Mexico.
  • Deliver against the annual new business target and regional ticket-volume goal, carrying individual as well as team targets.
  • Close anchor venue, promoter-group and festival partnerships that open or transform markets.
  • Personally manage RA's largest and most strategically valuable North American partners.
  • Own re-sign strategy and execution across the core book, landing renewals before expiry and establishing documented save plans for at-risk accounts.
  • Grow media and advertising revenue with consistent month-to-month pacing, working closely with Ad Ops to deliver data-driven results.
  • Line manage Partnerships Managers across New York, Chicago, Mexico City and the West Coast, plus the Promoter Support Coordinator.
  • Set and manage individual targets, quotas and territory allocation across the team.
  • Coach colleagues through live deals, including pricing, structure and negotiation, and join client conversations where seniority adds value.
  • Own progression and development for the team.
  • Contribute to annual North America strategy and revenue planning alongside the General Manager and Director of Revenue.
  • Build the region's understanding of the competitive landscape, including ticketing platforms, promoter consolidation and regulatory shifts, and translate it into commercial positioning.
  • Represent North American commercial needs to Product, Revenue and Support, advocating for the changes the market requires.
  • Support festival partnerships and regional RA events.
  • Run a weekly North American commercial cadence covering pipeline and forecast, with the CRM as the single source of truth.
  • Deliver forecast accuracy within a tight tolerance and maintain strong pipeline hygiene, ensuring every open deal has a clear stage, close date and value.
  • Maintain qualified pipeline coverage at the required multiples of target ahead of each quarter.
