About The Position

This role is responsible for Halter's event strategy in North America, encompassing everything from large-scale national brand events to supporting regional sales teams with local activation strategies. The position involves managing a team of Event Specialists/Coordinators, setting production standards for various event types, and ensuring each event has a clear commercial purpose and audience. The role requires a strategic approach to event planning, budget ownership, and a focus on delivering measurable ROI through pipeline generation and brand awareness.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Build the annual North American event strategy and calendar, deciding on event focus and rationale.
  • Manage the annual event budget, including forecasting, per-event budgets, supplier contracts, negotiation, cost reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Oversee the delivery of a range of events, including flagship national activations, conferences, enterprise events, invite-only stakeholder events, and regional events.
  • Set production standards for all events and ensure high-quality on-the-day experiences and effective follow-up.
  • Measure event ROI based on pipeline generated, cost per opportunity, and contribution to the deal cycle or customer journey.
  • Lead and coach a team of event professionals, enabling them to adapt to different event formats and maintain production standards.
  • Partner with Territory Managers to ensure regional events effectively serve their patches and pipeline.
