About The Position

Independence Pet Holdings, established in 2021, is a corporate holding company managing a diverse portfolio of modern pet health brands and services. Pumpkin, a subsidiary of IPH, is seeking a Senior Partnerships Account Manager who is results-oriented and can transform potential opportunities into a predictable, scalable revenue stream. This role is crucial to the company's growth strategy and involves leading the full partner lifecycle from initial launch to long-term account management to drive sustainable revenue and establish the brand as a premier pet wellness brand. The position is hybrid to NY.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of inside sales and/or account management experience, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C environment.
  • Previous experience engaging with prospects at all levels of the sales funnel through virtual sales calls.
  • Strong phone presence, utilizing active listening skills and a consultative approach.
  • Adaptable and comfortable navigating change, with the ability to thrive in less established or formalized environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in closing skills, with a strong focus on securing the next meeting, action, or commitment from clients.
  • Experience with digital and social selling tactics.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making choices to move forward independently or with limited oversight.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience/Familiarity with animal health or consumer pet.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to potential partners, tailoring pitches and creating collateral to highlight the brand and product’s unique value proposition.
  • Maintain a rigorous and organized sales pipeline, tracking every lead from initial contact to final signature, launch, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate closely with the Head of Commercial & Strategy, Finance, and Legal throughout the contracting process.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams (product, design, engineering, marketing, data) to ensure partnership launches are on time, on brand, and fully supported on the site and through integrations.
  • Establish KPIs for every partnership with partner and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous performance and improvement, providing regular data-driven reports to stakeholders and identifying areas for optimization and renewal.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing partners, nurturing long-term loyalty through proactive communication and quarterly business reviews.
