About The Position

We are seeking a business leader to join the Microsoft Security Partner Go‑To‑Market (GTM) team, focused on enabling partners to drive security adoption across small and medium businesses (SMB). Microsoft Security is a multi‑billion‑dollar and rapidly growing business, with significant opportunity ahead—particularly in helping SMB customers adopt advanced security solutions through our partner ecosystem. This role owns end‑to‑end GTM content development and execution, equipping partners to successfully sell Microsoft Security solutions to SMB customers. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will lead the development of partner‑ready GTM messaging, positioning, and content, working in close coordination with product marketing, engineering, finance, and business planning teams. This role is responsible for aligning cross‑functional efforts to help partners achieve revenue goals, support Microsoft’s customer acquisition and demand generation strategies, and strengthen a healthy, scalable third‑party security ecosystem. They will drive market research, content design, positioning, and messaging, while helping remove both technical and business‑model barriers that slow adoption of security solutions for Microsoft’s SMB customers. This role requires cross‑group leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex security technologies into clear, compelling partner and customer value.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business.
  • OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive partner‑led go‑to‑market strategies for Microsoft Security, Copilot, and Azure offerings across the SMB segment, aligned to Global (small and medium businesses)SMB priorities.
  • Develop and scale partner‑ready messaging, positioning, and campaigns that enable (Cloud Solution Providers)CSPs and resellers to effectively sell and adopt Microsoft solutions in SMB environments.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Programs teams to ensure aligned execution across SMB security modernization, Copilot adoption, and Azure growth motions.
  • Create enablement tools and outbound marketing assets that simplify complex security and AI concepts for SMB partners and customers.
  • Leverage SMB and partner insights to refine messaging, prioritize scenarios, and improve campaign relevance and impact.
  • Measure campaign performance and partner engagement, using insights to continuously optimize GTM execution.

Benefits

  • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year.
  • There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
