About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Partner Development Manager to own and scale Manychat’s next major platform partnership — TikTok. In this role, you will lead our integration from early-stage development to full general availability while serving as the primary external point of contact and internal driver of cross-functional execution. This role requires a highly strategic operator who can build strong platform relationships, navigate ambiguity in emerging ecosystems, and translate early partnership while laying the foundation for future platform expansions beyond TikTok.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in strategic partnerships or business development, with experience in high-growth platform ecosystems (TikTok/ByteDance experience strongly preferred)
  • Track record of taking a platform partnership from early stage to scaled launch — you're comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
  • Experience working with ad-revenue-driven platform teams and framing partnerships around monetization impact
  • Strong commercial instincts — you've negotiated revenue share, co-development agreements, and joint GTM programs
  • Familiarity with the creator economy across multiple platforms, not just one
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously at different stages of maturity
  • Excellent cross-functional skills — you can align Product, Engineering, and Marketing without owning any of those functions
  • Strong data and analytical skills to drive opportunity sizing and prioritization decisions
  • Willingness to travel for partnership summits, events, and relationship-building

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end TikTok partnership — serving as primary external POC across their Product, Ads, and Partnership teams
  • Drive the partnership from beta to GA: secure product commitments, negotiate commercial terms, align on joint go-to-market, and coordinate technical requirements
  • Translate Manychat's platform value into partner-relevant outcomes — particularly around advertising revenue, creator monetization, and user engagement
  • Represent Manychat at major partner events and summits at a senior level
  • Lead partnership exploration with emerging strategic social media and content platforms: initiate relationships, validate opportunities, and build proposals that position Manychat as a first-mover design partner
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to define platform-specific requirements and balance product reuse with platform-native innovation
  • Set partnership goals and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure delivery across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics across the creator economy
