  • 5+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, ecosystem development, or a related commercial role, ideally within SaaS or technology.
  • Experience selling into or building partnerships across industrial markets such as construction, manufacturing, energy & utilities, logistics, field services, or the skilled trades.

  • Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value commercial agreements.
  • Executive presence and ability to build credibility with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including the ability to model opportunities and build ROI-driven business cases.
  • High-agency, ownership-oriented operating style; comfortable moving forward without perfect information or a finished playbook.
  • Judgment to operate independently, test hypotheses quickly, learn from the market, and refine strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Create pipeline from scratch by finding and engaging organizations with significant reach and influence.
  • Lead the full acquisition cycle for complex, high-value partnerships, from outreach to negotiation and signature.
  • Sell at the executive level, building credibility with C-suite stakeholders and connecting Engine's value proposition to their strategic priorities.
  • Develop compelling, data-driven partnership models based on revenue potential, ROI, and long-term value.
  • Design partnerships that leverage a partner's network to create scalable demand for Engine.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Partner Success, Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations) to launch and activate closed partnerships.
  • Develop and refine the Industrials partnership playbook by measuring performance and learning from the market.
