About The Position

As a Senior Painter (Touch-Up Paint) at the Mount Holly Truck Plant, you'll play a key role in ensuring every truck leaves the production line looking its absolute best. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys delivering a polished final product. Requirements

Must be able to pass paint physical.
Must pass respiratory physical.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application

Responsibilities

Must be able to completely apply Topcoat and Clear coat to all parts of truck and meet corporate quality appearance criteria.
Must be able to climb ladders without restrictions to pain roofs of cabs.
Must be able to work in Team Environment
Must be able to rotate in painting different parts of cabs.
Must be able to always wear fresh air hood and suit when applying topcoat or working in paint booths.
Must follow all safety related procedures when disposing of waste and hazardous material.
Must be able to use required hand tools and paint equipment.
Must be able to use supplied power tools in assigned task assembly.
Must be able to key production processes at required pace.
Complete spot repairs
Prep for Paint, blend and clear within cycle time
Repair dents, work with Bondo and tiger hair, able to feather out sanded bodywork in cycle time.
Panel paint within cycle time
Tear down and build up painted parts without damage.
